Table for two.
Keep calm and spread the good vibes.
Gearing up for a rocky sem ahead!
A summer well spent
Internet. TV. Junk food. Malls. Movies. Milkshakes. Chips. Ice cream. Sleep.
How do you know you’ve made the most out of your summer?
Guitar lessons. Dance class. Trips to the beach. Amusement parks. Dirty ice cream. English-French dictionary. Polaroids. Sand. Fruit shakes. Sea shells.
Is it more about what you’ve always wanted to do, or about what you’re destined to experience? Is it about living life as planned, or about living louder?
I don’t believe that there really is a summer well spent, but only life well lived.
Five Things #2: Back to School
I went for a National Bookstore haul for things that I think I’ll need for the coming semester. Basically, these are things I can’t live without in college.
1. Acryl refillable binders - The big one fro my majors and the regular sized one for GEs.

2. A brand new Blogberry university planner - I was going for Campus BDJ but then Blogberry had more space to write on.

3 and 4. Post-its and highlighters - My highlighters run out even before finals so I stocked up on pretty colors beforehand. The sticky notes are for reminders and notes-to-self.

5. Keep calm and spread the love - Some motivation to help me to keep moving forward.

A gorgeous sunset.
Note: These photos are not edited. They come straight from the camera.
And then it hit me.
My first year in college is finally coming to a close.
No more, “Freshie ka ba?” from the upperclassmen. No more getting used to. In a couple of weeks, we are officially ates and kuyas of the new freshie batch.
I’m glad that I could say I’ve made the most out of my first year. I met new friends, acquaintances, and what I would like to call family outside of home. I tried new things I’ve never done before, learned new things, made new memories to cherish. I can’t say I’m the one who is active in attending parties, joining rallies or boycotts, but I definitely tried to adapt to the new environment, get to know new faces, fit myself right in to this world called college.
Now we’re moving on to a higher year, looking forward to harder subjects, more sleepless nights, hell weeks, and hopefully, another great year.
